This product represents the co-operative nature that exists between ourselves and Nassau. To learn more about our relationship with Nassau, please refer to our Asteroid Repellent page. It was Nassau who proposed that we develop this repellent to enhance our existing line of space related repellents. As always, where we see a need we are anxious to develop safety measures to address that need. While the phenomenon of novas - the tendancy of a star to explode - is a fairly recent discovery, the destructive power of such an event is staggering. Increased levels of heat and radiation, massive shockwaves, gravitational flux and the creation of black holes are only a few of the nasty results of this type of cosmic event.

Once the suggestion had been made by Nassau we immediately went to work formulating a repellent that would offer protection against novas of all sizes and intensities. Nassau provided their legendary field testing of the product and we are happy to report that the repellent exceeded even our wildest expectations. It is a known fact that novas occur somewhere in the universe almost every day. However, no one in our test group suffered even the slightest injury or discomfort as a result! We are so encouraged by these results that even now development is ongoing for the creation of black hole repellent (quantum singularity repellent for those of you who want to get into symantics). Please note that this repellent is strictly for protection against novas and super navas. If you need protection from comets, asteroids, etc. please explore these products from the list at the left. Also, this repellent only provides protection from actual nova injury. We regret that it offers no protection from the fallout of a nova event such as searing heat, burns, rashes, crop failures, etc.
